Raffles Hotel and Singapore Sling

One iconic edifice in Singapore is the Raffles Hotel. It's architectural style is reminiscent of Singapore's colonial past.

When one strides along its corridors, it feels like your own home. The courtyard provide  spaces for socialization and the greeneries a place to relax amidst the hustle and bustle of the city-state.

There are a lot of shops in the hotel ranging from art shop, antique shop, souvenir shop, fashion and accessories shops.

The colonial architecture of the hotel which reminded
me of Alabang Town Center.

A wing of the hotel with lush scenery. In this place, you just can't believe that you're in the city center.

An open hall in colonial architectural style.

One archway along the hotel's corridor.

The fountain in one of the hotel's courtyards.

The mini lake with fountain at hotel's lawn.

This hotel aside from a heritage landmark is also the home of iconic Singapore Sling concocted in its Long Bar by Ngiam Tong Boon.

I always long for Sunday afternoons having coffee or Singapore sling in this hotel. It is a time well spent for one's enjoyment.
