A Filipino Kitchen in Korea

For Filipinos, the food bazaar at Hyewa-dong is the most famous place to go, to eat or buy favorite Filipino foods. But in a little obscure place in Itaewon, there is a Filipino restaurant which you can really call a restaurant (I would say, the only Filipino restaurant in Seoul.).The name is Kusina (Filipino word for kitchen). This is a perfect place to dine if you miss Filipino foods or you just want to feel at home.

According to the proprietress Ms. Dinah Magat, they conducted taste test with ambassadorial spouses to come up with their delectable menus. They set a high standard for overall cleanliness of their restaurant and ensure that their utensils are well cleaned and prepared.  As Ate Dinah told us, even Sandara Park would drop by Kusina to buy her favorite food kare-kare

The proprietress of Kusina restaurant, Ms. Dinah Magat entertains the dinners.

There were more food choices but we ordered pancit bihon, kare-kare, beef steak, sweet and sour and lechon kawali.

Here's their contact details.
