There is this famous song which goes "... Son of a gun, we'll have big fun on the Bayou." It is from the song "Jambalaya" by Carpenters. My curiosity on this song lead me to the Buffalo Bayou of Houston particularly in Brenner's Steakhouse where they have a beautiful and serene environment.
It is quite nice to dine there while watching the stream of the bayou. It is one of the best places in Houston to lounge on a Sunday afternoon. Of course, I have to mention the delicious steak they serve there.

This is among my suggested places to visit while in Houston. It is a unique way to experience what the State of Texas has to offer.
