The Manila Golf and Country Club as its website says is the Most Prestigious Golf Club in the Philippines. It was founded in 1901 in Caloocan and transferred to Makati in 1949 shortly after World War II. It was Col. Joseph R. McMicking, the developer of Makati Central Business District who made the transfer possible.
I visited the golf club during the induction of Mr. Hans T. Sy of SM Prime Holdings as Honorary Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) Philippines.

The club is indeed a haven for golfers. It is the most exquisite and elegant golf club that I have ever been to, not only in the Philippines but in Southeast Asia.

One feature of the golf club that captivated me was the panoramic view of BGC while you are playing golf. The greens are vast and indeed provides an invigorating recreational atmosphere and for some even a relaxing atmosphere.

They also have function rooms where you can have meetings or events, and they have a restaurant which serves delectable foods. the function rooms offer a panoramic view of the greens with the BGC in the background.  |

It is always great to be at the Manila Golf and Country Club. It is where you can showcase and enhance your golfing skills and sportsmanship while enjoying the other perks provided by the club.
