I visited the St. John the Baptist Parish Church in Calamba, Laguna. This is a historical place as Dr. Jose P. Rizal, the Philippine's National Hero, was baptized here.

Inside the church, one can see the baptismal font which witnessed that significant occasion in our national hero's life.

The church also has a beautiful altar and in front of the church one can find Calamba City Plaza.

Across the street from the right side of the church is the Rizal Shrine where our National Hero used to live. That will be my next feature in this blog.
