Barcelona, Sorsogon: Tapestry of Faith

The name Barcelona reminds us of the Basilica de la Sagrada Familia in Barcelona, Spain. But there is another Barcelona which in terms of faith, depicts a tapestry similar to that in Spain.

Barcelona in Sorsogon is a simple town with a colorful history and a beautiful church made from coral stones, a distinctive feature among the churches in Bicol which are made of dark volcanic stones.

The church also has a beautiful altar, and its ceiling has paintings depicting biblical scenes wonderfully painted.

Across the church, you can find a seaside walk where you can take a photo on this spot.
