Among the tourist attractions in the Philippines are the colonial houses spread throughout the archipelago. Some of these colonial houses have historical significance such as the Casa de Segunda in Lipa City, Batangas.
The house aside from it being a "bahay na bato" showcasing the marvels of colonial architecture in the Philippines, it was the residence of Segunda Katigbak, the first love of our national hero Dr. Jose P. Rizal.
When you visit this house, you'll see centuries old furnitures, santos, and discover more of history and the progeny of Luz-Katigbak Family.

Hello po! I would like to ask if I may use these pictures of the Casa de Segunda for a school project? We are tasked to create an archive of historical sites around our community and I really loved your shots po. I will make sure to credit you if ever I am given the permission po :D
