This is a good book to guide you when you write your MBA application essays.

As compared to the "65 Successful Harvard Business School Application Essays" by the Harbus, this book offers a more extensive discussion on what kind of essays will work and will not work. In fact, this book gave an example of a well written essay but not well thought idea.

It also contains interviews with previous admissions officers, which shed light on what they look for in an essay and what captures their attention.

Of course, it provided essays submitted to various business schools in the US and its corresponding analyses.

Much like the "65 Successful Harvard Business School Application Essays", you can learn a lot of things from the essays in this book and to some extent transformative in the way you think.

What I like about this book is that it is not difficult to read. In fact, Nedda Gilbert is like talking to you when you read this book. So, it is a good choice for you if you want to get good perspectives as well as an inspiration in writing your own essays.
